Rudas sells its own tickets, online and at the desk, and there is one partner product: a day in the bath with a three-course meal at Rudas Bistro, the restaurant in the building. It is a good buy if you would eat there anyway.

Ticket types
The day pass and 3-course meal
The package is sold by Rudas Bistro, the restaurant in the bath building, which has a terrace by the Danube and a menu of international and rethought Hungarian dishes. You get a full day’s bathing and a three-course à la carte meal, or the chef’s offer, with a drink.
When you book you pick a table time. You can swim before or after the meal, as long as the bath is open.

What you choose between, and what changes the price
- Whole bath or wellness only. The package’s full options add the Turkish bath. Pick those only for a day when its session suits you, because it is women only on Tuesday and men only on Wednesday
- Coffee, wine or champagne. The drink with the meal sets the option’s price. The partner also lists a fruity lemonade
- Weekday or weekend. The bath’s own day tickets cost least from Monday to Thursday, more from Friday to Sunday and most on holidays and in high season
- Locker or cabin. The bath’s all-zones ticket comes with a locker, and a cabin can be added for a charge
The bath's own day tickets
The bath’s main ticket is its day ticket to all zones. It covers the Turkish bath pools, the swimming pool, the wellness section, the sauna world and the rooftop panorama pool, with a locker, and it is valid for daytime bathing only. It is sold online and at the desk.
The bath also sells tickets for one section only on some days. Its price list gives Monday, Thursday and Friday until 10:45, and its online shop sells them for Tuesday and Wednesday. The Turkish-bath-only ticket does not include the rooftop pool. If you want one section only, check the day at the desk; the all-zones ticket is valid on every day the bath is open.
Fast track
Fast track is a timed ticket sold only online by the bath. It gets you in without queueing, but only inside the slot you chose, and you can then stay until closing.
The slots run from 12:00 to 15:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00 on every day except Tuesday and Wednesday, and from 08:00 to 09:00 on Saturday and Sunday. It covers the indoor pools, the panorama pool and the steam cabins.
Night bathing tickets
Night bathing on Friday and Saturday, 22:00 to 03:00, has its own ticket for each night, sold only online. It covers the indoor pools and the rooftop panorama pool, and the sauna world and massages are not available.
No partner sells it, and a day ticket does not cover it. The hours and the rules are on the opening hours page.
Budapest Card discount
The Budapest Card is not a ticket to Rudas. It gives a 20% discount on some adult day tickets bought at the bath, and the bath’s English and Hungarian pages word which tickets differently. The Hungarian price list limits it to the wellness zone on weekdays and opens it to the whole bath from 10:00 on Fridays and at weekends.
Show the Card at the desk before you pay. The bath the Card gets you into free is Lukács.
What costs extra inside
- Massages. Aroma and refreshing massages of 20 or 45 minutes, premium massages of 60 minutes for one or two people and a 40-minute Rudas Water Ritual. Only with a valid bath ticket and only from the age of 14
- Towels, bathrobes, slippers, caps and swimsuits, sold at the cashier. Nothing is rented
- A cabin instead of a locker, and a safe for valuables
- Food and drink at Rudas Café inside the bath, with sandwiches and pastries, or at the bistro
Where to buy Rudas tickets
Online: the day pass and 3-course meal is the one product our partners sell. The bath sells its own day, fast-track and night tickets on its website, and night tickets only there.
On the day: the bath sells day tickets at its desk, subject to availability, even when the online ones are sold out. Expect a queue from about noon, longest on Saturday afternoons. Any cash has to be in forints, and the desks close an hour before the bath does.
Before you go
- Nobody under 14 is admitted, to any part of the bath
- Slippers are compulsory, and swimwear in the pools. A cap is needed in the swimming pool only
- Aprons on the single-sex sessions. Two aprons are compulsory in the Turkish bath on its men’s and women’s sessions, and the bath hands out a free bath sheet with every ticket
- Your ticket is a proxy watch that opens and closes your locker. Valuables go in the safe, the only place the bath takes responsibility for them
