One ticket gets you into Madame Tussauds Budapest, and it is sold for a date and a time slot. There is no separate ticket for the zones, the sets or the Pop&Roll Art Toilet, because admission covers the lot.
The one date rule that matters is the slot itself. The museum cannot let you in before it starts, gives you 15 minutes’ grace after it, and guarantees entry at your chosen time only to people who booked online. Why book ahead

Entry with Pop&Roll access
The same visit, sold by GetYourGuide with the Pop&Roll Art Toilet named on the product. It is the ticket to pick if you want the rates spelled out before you book, or want to reserve without paying yet.

Walk-up tickets at the door
The museum sells tickets on the spot, but it admits walk-ups only on the capacity left in the slot, and it says outright that it can guarantee a time only to online bookers. Reasonable as a backup on a quiet weekday, not a plan for a Saturday.
Reduced tickets for disabled visitors
The museum sells a reduced ticket for disabled visitors and a reduced companion ticket for one carer. Both are bought on site, not through our partners, on showing a card from one of the Hungarian disability organisations the museum lists or the International Disability Card, which staff check at the door.
Who counts as a child
- Under 16: must be accompanied by an adult, whichever ticket you hold
- Under 4: admitted free, but the museum requires a baby ticket for them. The booking page shows how the ticket you are buying handles infants
- Students need a valid student ID for the student rate, and seniors may be asked for ID
Where to buy
Online (recommended): book a date and slot in advance online. The QR code arrives by email and is all you need at the entrance.
On the door: the desk in the Palazzo Dorottya ticket hall sells tickets during opening hours, subject to space in the next slots. Last entry is an hour before closing. The souvenir shop can be visited from the street without a ticket.

Choose a date and a time slot
Weekday mornings from 10:00 are the calmest. Saturday is the only day with evening slots, because the museum stays open until 20:00.
Save the QR code
It arrives by email. Save it to your phone so it works without a signal in the ticket hall.
Arrive for the start of your slot
Not before, because the museum cannot admit you early, and not more than 15 minutes after. Bags may be checked on the way in.
Before you go
- Your ticket is for one entry on the date and in the slot you booked
- Children under 16 must be with an adult; under-4s need a baby ticket
- Bags may be searched. Backpacks are fine and there is a locker by the entrance for small bags; suitcases and large luggage are not allowed in and cannot be stored
- Not allowed in: weapons, anything sharp (knives, scissors, corkscrews, metal nail files), glass bottles, alcohol, drones, skateboards, scooters and roller skates
- Photography is allowed and encouraged in every public area
- No food or drink in the exhibition; the Cinema Café inside sells coffee, soft drinks and snacks
