Walk, Hands, Eyes: see the city with your eyes shut

Myriam Lefkowitz’s one-to-one performance: a guide leads you through the city for an hour with your eyes closed, asking you to open them only for brief glimpses. Almost nothing is said. Pay what you can, ages 6 and up.
About the event
This is the first time Paris-based artist Myriam Lefkowitz has presented her work in Hungary. The walk is for two people, you and a guide who leads you by touch. The route is built on contrasts of rhythm, surface, light and sound, indoors and out, and up to ten times the guide asks you to open your eyes on a scene they have chosen. The only words are "open", "close", "step up" and "step down".
Lefkowitz and Julie Laporte share the guiding with four local performers. Walks start outside Trafó and need no Hungarian. Book a slot through Trafó, choosing from three ticket levels. Trafó passes are valid.
