Car-free day: one ticket for the whole country

For car-free day, a special day ticket gives unlimited travel on trains and coaches between towns anywhere in Hungary. A good excuse for a day out of the city.
About the event
The transport ministry is selling the ticket to mark car-free day, the last day of European Mobility Week. It covers the same network as the standard Magyarország24 day ticket, costs the same through every sales channel, and is valid on this one day only.
A few things to know before you set off. It does not cover Budapest's local public transport, or city transport in towns where county passes normally work. Seat reservations and supplements are not included and have to be bought separately. Bikes travel free on regional trains that normally need a bike ticket, but you still have to book a place for one.
