A Berlin duo who build dark wave and EBM around an analogue tape machine, sharing the ship's Bow studio with a Prague songwriter working in shoegaze and dream pop.
About the event
Twin Noir formed in Berlin in 2021 and are Cody Barcelona on vocals, electronics and guitar and Ian Volt on vocals and bass, with Lina Avair as a third member working behind the scenes. Their songs set short, repeated German lyrics over heavy basslines, dark synthesisers and club beats. ROYE is an indie singer-songwriter who comes from India and now lives and writes in the Czech Republic, drawing on British guitar bands of the late eighties and early nineties for melancholy, atmospheric songs. His second self-released album is Funeral of Feelings. LivEurope supports the concert.
