The Qualitons on the A38

The Hungarian band behind a mix of sixties and seventies psychedelia, garage rock and soul play their big autumn show, in more acoustic arrangements and with a guest. Part of the Újbuda Jazz Festival.
About the event
Since reforming in 2024, The Qualitons have released new music at a fast pace, including the Club Eco I and II albums and a fully improvised record, and they have been played on Seattle's KEXP radio. They are also working on reinterpretations and covers of songs by another well-known Hungarian band, and this concert gives the first taste of them.
The show is in the A38's concert hall. Eskimo Lunettes open, a band that began as a bedroom project and mixes surf-inspired riffs with hypnotic basslines and noisy synths. The gig is ticketed, a three-day festival pass also covers it, and you can add an optional dinner ticket on board. Doors open at 18:30.
