Last week of the national photography salon at the Műcsarnok

Paths and Crossroads, the national photography salon held every five years, shows work by more than 150 Hungarian photographers. It closes on Sunday 27 September.

About the event

This is the third National Photography Salon, a large survey of recent Hungarian photography. The curators, András Bán and Károly Kincses, describe it as a deliberately personal selection rather than a full record.

It covers documentary work with a social edge, intimate diary-style photography, conceptual pieces, manipulated images, archive-based work using historical handmade processes and pictures made with artificial intelligence. The exhibition has run since early June and this is its final week.
