Müpa's Advent concert with Benjamin Appl
Sunday 29 November

The German-British baritone Benjamin Appl sings songs from his recent Christmas album at Müpa's yearly Advent concert, with the Lautitia children's and youth choirs and the Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra.
About the event
Müpa produces this one itself, every year, as an evening of calm in the busiest weeks before Christmas. Appl will be a familiar voice to the hall's regulars from its New Year's concert, the Kurtág100 Festival and Bartók Spring. József Nemes conducts. He leads the Lautitia choir family, which brings both its children's choir and its youth mixed choir, and the orchestra comes with its artistic director, László G. Horváth. The choirs and the orchestra each have their own numbers in the programme as well as Appl's songs. The concert runs for about two hours with one interval, and a ticket gets you free parking at Müpa on the day.
