Metamorphosis at the Capa Center
7 October to 17 January

Nine European photographers on the idea that nothing holds its shape for long, from cells and family ties to landscape and the cosmos. The travelling show has already been to Prague, Rouen and Turin, and Budapest is its last stop.
About the event
Emese Mucsi curates, and the theme was worked out with curators at two partner institutions for FUTURES, the European photography platform. The starting point is the philosopher Emanuele Coccia, who argues that every living thing shares one continuous life, and that species are passing forms of the same matter rather than fixed categories. The photographers were all born between the mid-1980s and the mid-1990s: Claudia Amatruda, Máté Bartha, Marcus Gustafsson, Vitalii Halanzha, Zoe Hamill, Emilia Martin, Anna Orłowska, Constantin Schlachter and Balázs Turós. Ticketed, and the ticket desk shuts half an hour before closing.
