Lucy Dreams and Larsovitch in the A38's Bow studio

Saturday 12 December

An Austrian band whose creative partner is an artificial band member called Lucy, on a bill with a French project that makes dark, danceable music on old machines and no computers.

About the event

Lucy Dreams work at the join between analogue and digital art, with Lucy at the centre of what they do, and they call the result SonicWaveArtPop. The album VVVVV rethinks both the sound and the look of the band, which has played stages in Canada, Japan, Europe and the UK. Larsovitch started at the Friche Mimi arts factory in Montpellier at the end of 2020. The EP Normal'No sets minimal wave against Eastern European post-punk, with guitars, circuitry and a voice that slips between languages. LivEurope and the Austrian Cultural Forum support the evening.
