Kraak & Smaak at the Akvárium Klub

The Leiden outfit built their name on electronic disco, funk and indie, and they are out on a club tour behind a seventh album. Berenice van Leer and Ivar Vermeulen share the vocals.

About the event

Kraak & Smaak marked twenty years with a compilation called Twenty, then went back into the studio. Velvet Seas is what came out, and Nothing Is Forever, Heat and Travel Light are the tracks they have put in front of it. The new record comes with a new show, which is what has taken them back to the clubs, and the set runs the new songs alongside the ones the room already knows. It is in the Small Hall, built as a copy of the main room and holding close to 700, with its own lighting and sound rig and no sound limit.
