Földszint with English subtitles at the Bem
3 to 27 October

The Bem puts Gábor Reisz's tragicomedy on with English subtitles half a dozen times across the month. One day in the life of a man who finds a patch of damp on his wall and cannot leave it alone.
About the event
Gábor Reisz directs, and Ádám Tompa and Bettina Józsa take the two central roles. It is a Hungarian and Italian co-production, 107 minutes long, spoken in Hungarian with English subtitles on every one of these screenings. The cinema does not recommend it for anyone under sixteen. The dates are spread thinly through the month rather than run daily, and the start times move between mid-afternoon and late evening, so pick your slot before setting off rather than turning up on spec. Each screening is booked separately on the cinema's own page.
