Eagle-Eye Cherry at the Akvárium Klub
Monday 23 November

Save Tonight in the Akvárium's biggest room, and the Swedish songwriter's first headline show in Budapest. Hungary has only had a handful of chances at him.
About the event
Born in Stockholm in 1968 to the artist Moki Cherry and the jazz musician Don Cherry, and brother to Neneh Cherry, he grew up in the Scanian countryside and then in New York, where he went to the School of Performing Arts, drummed in several bands and tried acting. He turned to music for good after his father died in 1995, and his 1997 debut Desireless carried Save Tonight to the top of charts across Europe. He stopped touring in 2012, then came back with Back on Track, written out of the pandemic and a renewed appetite for playing live, and followed it with Become A Light. The chances Hungary has had were Sziget in 1999 and, more recently, the Harley-Davidson Festival.
