Danko Jones at the A38
Thursday 15 October

Thirty years of no-frills rock'n'roll from the Canadian band, in the ship's concert hall on the tour for their twelfth album, Leo Rising. The British band Split Dogs support.
About the event
Danko Jones formed in 1996 and took its name from the founding singer and guitarist. For years the band built a reputation on playing live rather than releasing records, and the first full-length album appeared only in 2002. The new one was produced again by Eric Ratz, a Juno Award winner, and the European tour behind it has been their most successful, with shows moved to bigger rooms or doubled after selling out in advance. Expect catchy, singalong anthems, older favourites in the set and a frontman who runs the night like a master of ceremonies. A dinner ticket on the ship can be added to a concert ticket.
