There is one kind of entry to Lumina Park, a ticket for a single date, used at any time the park is open that evening. There are no time slots and no upgrades to choose between.
The decision that matters is the date. A ticket cannot be moved to another day, so check your evening against the opening hours before you pay. It is closed on Mondays apart from 28 December and 4 January, and on 1 November and 24 December.

What the Lumina Park ticket covers
One entry to the whole trail, on the date you book. The park’s 1.5 km loop starts and ends at the same gate, so there is no section sold separately and no second route to pay for.
You can go in at any time the park is open that evening and stay as long as you like until closing. The ticket is sent to you after booking and shown at the entrance; nothing has to be swapped or collected first.
Adult, child, senior and student tickets
The booking page sells four bands: adults from 19 to 64, children aged 18 and under, seniors from 65, and students with ID up to 26. You choose them before you pay, and students need their card with them at the gate.
Children under 2 go in free, so book nothing for them. Anyone under 14 has to come with an adult, whoever bought the ticket.
Weekday and weekend prices
The park charges more from Friday to Sunday and on holidays than from Monday to Thursday, so a Tuesday or a Wednesday is the cheaper evening as well as the quieter one. The booking page shows the price for your date before you pay.
Family tickets and paying with a SZÉP card
The family ticket is the park’s own, and the online ticket has no family option, so a family booking online books one ticket per person, with under-2s free. A SZÉP card (OTP or K&H) pays for tickets only at the park’s ticket office by the entrance.
Where to buy
Online. The booking page shows the dates on sale and the bands for your party, sends the ticket after booking, and cancels free up to 24 hours ahead. It is the way to arrive with nothing to do at the gate but show the ticket.
At the gate. The ticket office by the entrance sells tickets until last entry, an hour before the park closes. It is the place to pay for a ticket with a SZÉP card.
How to book
Pick an evening the park is open
Not a Monday (except 28 December and 4 January), not 1 November and not 24 December. Opening hours lists every date.
Set the party
Adults, children, seniors and students each have a band. Under-2s go in free and need no ticket.
Keep the ticket to hand
It is sent to you after booking. Have it ready to show at the entrance.
Arrive before last entry
An hour before closing, which is 20:00 on most evenings and 21:00 over Christmas.
Before you go
- One date only. The ticket is valid for the date on it and no other
- Students and seniors bring the ID that matches the band they booked
- Under-14s must be with an adult
- Bring a bank card. The snack bars inside take bank cards and SZÉP cards only
- No dogs, bicycles or scooters

- Free cancellation up to 24 hours ahead on the online ticket
