Trio Mandili at the Akvárium Klub
Thursday 22 October

Three Georgian singers who went from a phone video on a country road to an international following. This is their own concert, in the Akvárium's biggest room.
About the event
Tatuli Mgeladze, Tamara Tsiklauri and Mariam Kurasbediani come from a remote village in the Caucasus. Walking along a country road one sunny day, they sang one of their favourite songs, Apareka, into a phone and put the video online, where it passed millions of views within a fortnight and changed their lives. A large international following came with it, and the three have stayed modest about the success and devoted to their music. They play folk festivals as regulars and have taken their own concerts around Europe and to Kazakhstan and Israel. The Main Hall has a restaurant, a cloakroom and step-free access.
