Recirquel: Paradisum

Bence Vági's company works in cirque danse, contemporary dance crossed with aerial and ground circus. Paradisum is told entirely in movement and runs an hour straight through, and it plays over New Year's Eve.

About the event

Vági directs and choreographs. The piece starts from a world that has been destroyed and is coming back to life, where the body is the only means of communication and movement the only shared language. Six performers emerge from what the company calls the fabric of life and pass through purification, birth, awakening and ritual towards the anima mundi, the world soul. Edina Szirtes wrote the music, Emese Kasza designed the costumes and Attila Lenzsér the lighting. Strobe lighting is used during the show. Müpa is producing it in the Festival Theatre and does not recommend it for anyone under twelve. Tickets are sold through Müpa.
