Psychedelic Porn Crumpets on the A38
Tuesday 17 November
Psych-rock from Perth in the ship's concert hall, on the tour behind the band's seventh album. Spiral Drive play the same night.
About the event
Psychedelic Porn Crumpets formed in 2014 around the singer and guitarist Jack McEwan, with Luke Parish on guitar, Danny Caddy on drums and Chris Young on keyboards. Luke Reynolds left in 2020 and Wayan Biliondana took over on bass in 2022. Cutting synthesiser lines and tightly built guitar riffs put them in the same bracket as Tame Impala and All Them Witches. Their seventh album, Carpe Diem, Moonman, took shape while the band were on the road and came out in May 2025, following Night Gnomes. Spiral Drive is the project of the German-Austrian multi-instrumentalist and producer Raphaël Neikes, whose debut Unity arrived in 2019 and whose second record, Visions in Bloom, carried the single Space Train.
