About the event
The Hungarian Museum of Science, Technology and Transport draws on its horse-drawn, shipping, road, air, rail and urban collections to follow the story from the first Hungarian motor accident, when the champagne maker József Törley hit a street sweeper who had not expected anything to come at him that fast, through the Royal Hungarian Post's driving schools, to the private vehicles of heads of state. Radar, cameras, artificial intelligence and the future of the highway code all get a look in.
Talks, museum education sessions and simulators run alongside, on when the airbag arrived, when an electric scooter is safe to ride and what to do if you see a crash.
