A Christmas concert with José Carreras and Katherine Jenkins

One of the Three Tenors brings a Christmas programme to the Dome, with the Welsh mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins singing in Hungary for the first time.

About the event

Carreras has more than sixty operas and over 150 recordings behind him, and a career that took in La Scala, the Metropolitan Opera, the Vienna Staatsoper and the Royal Opera House long before the Three Tenors made him a household name. Jenkins built hers on the classical crossover side, and has a following well outside the concert hall. David Giménez conducts, a fellow Barcelonan who has worked with Carreras for years and taken the podium with the Vienna Philharmonic and the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Budafoki Dohnányi Orchestra plays. Music from 19:00, with VIP tickets sold alongside standard admission.
