Jodok Cello at the Budapest Arena
Wednesday 11 November
The Swiss cellist Jodok Vuille rewrites Bruno Mars, Coldplay, David Guetta, Hans Zimmer and Ludovico Einaudi for solo cello, and plays them inside a full light show.
About the event
Vuille comes from the Emmental in Switzerland, performs as Jodok Cello and likes to play barefoot. More than 16 million people follow him online. Budapest is one stop on his 2026 world tour, and he moves up to a bigger stage here after a sold-out first concert in the city. Nejc Levstik directs the production and Crt Birsa of Blackout Lighting Design handles the lighting, with Koncertpromo and BRICS Entertainment bringing it to Hungary. A SkyBar ticket adds a table in the VIP area, premium catering, a better view of the stage and a space in the arena's own car park.
