Budapest Bár's Christmas concert on the A38

The band that reworks the coffeehouse gypsy music of 1920s and 1930s Budapest, with singers drawn from the Hungarian rock scene, playing the boat three days before Christmas. They promise there will be no Last Christmas.
About the event
Róbert Farkas started the band as a one-off album project nineteen years ago, and it has run ever since with a roster of thirteen singers. This night puts Dóri Behumi, Bori Rutkai, Vera Tóth, Gyuri Ferenczi, László Kollár-Klemencz and Misi Mező in front of Farkas on violin and guitar, Sándor Ürmös on cimbalom, Károly Ökrös on accordion, Richárd Farkas on double bass and Bence Kisvári on drums. The set draws on the best songs of the last century, with jazz, klezmer, pop and rock worked into the arrangements. It is in the concert hall, and a two or three course dinner on the boat can be added to your ticket.
