Molière. L'Opéra Urbain at the Budapest Arena

The French musical about Molière, voted the country's best original show after its Paris premiere, plays five performances at the arena over four days.
About the event
It follows the playwright from his youth through the years in which he made his name, and turns on the moment he sets up his own theatre company, without knowing what that will later cost. Several other music awards have come its way since the premiere.
Dove Attia and Ladislas Chollat built the show as a declaration of love for the classics, putting the seventeenth century next to the twenty-first, with traditional motifs set inside contemporary staging and matched to a modern score. The arena sells a SkyBar ticket alongside standard admission, adding a table in the VIP area, faster entry and parking.
