Józsefvárosi Cicafeszt, cats to meet and adopt

The district council and the Macskavilág Foundation fill the Kesztyűgyár with cats looking for homes, and you can meet them whether or not you are taking one. Around them runs a programme aimed squarely at children.

About the event

The cats up for adoption are the ones already in the foundation's care. Vets give talks on keeping a cat, with room in them to ask questions. For children there is face painting and glitter tattoos, a reptile show with a chance to stroke the animals, and circus props to try out. The council's invitation is addressed to families, and the community house it uses sits in the Magdolna quarter of the eighth district.
