Csendes barát with English subtitles at the Toldi

About the event

Enyedi directed On Body and Soul, which won the Golden Bear and was nominated for an Oscar. Her follow-up sets out three hesitant meetings between people and plants, moments when two very different ways of sensing the world briefly line up. Tony Leung Chiu-Wai, Luna Wedler and Enzo Brumm lead a Hungarian and German production that took six prizes in Venice, among them the Marcello Mastroianni award for Wedler as best new actor. It runs 147 minutes and is rated sixteen. Only a few screenings are left, split between the cinema's two rooms.
