Community clothes swap in Rákospalota

Bring the clothes you have stopped wearing, take away somebody else’s, and no money changes hands either way. The district’s culture centre runs it for a day, with adults’ and children’s clothes both in the mix.
About the event
The idea is to keep wearable things in circulation and out of the bin, and the centre is plain about what that needs. Only clean, washed, unripped clothes and accessories, nothing worn out, dirty or damaged, and no underwear or swimwear. Sorting what you bring into women’s, men’s, girls’, boys’ and baby piles before you set off helps. Asking money for anything is banned. Whatever is left at the end is passed on to charity, and anyone can walk in, whether they are bringing something or not. A limited amount can be handed in beforehand, on a day announced separately and arranged by phone first.
