A Csend Ünnepe, a community day on the Aszódi estate

Ferencváros's cultural centre puts on an afternoon and evening for the Aszódi estate, and anyone can turn up. Music, games and hands-on craft workshops in the square, and every part of the programme is free.
About the event
Opening speeches start things off, then DJ Nándesz plays and the shared games begin. The PTE Brass Band performs in the evening, and Mare Temporis close the night with a fire juggling show. Alongside all of that sit craft workshops making leather puzzle locks and rope, face painting, an obstacle-course slide and interactive games.
It is a day for the estate's own residents rather than a ticketed festival, so expect the speeches and the games to be in Hungarian. The organisers say the programme may change, and the Dési Huber István cultural house takes enquiries.
